What are peoples opinions on oem vs hardrace engine mounts?

Has anyone run both?

hardrace.co.uk I found to be the cheapest or racingxs I think it's called, they have an eBay shop.

We stuck these mounts in my dads DC2 track car recently and they are relatively harsh, rear view mirror vibrating harsh, OEM like fitment, and makes the car very nice to drive especially high rpm shifts. The car needed these mounts ideally with the 1.5way plated diff.

On a daily car with an OEM drive train and a few breathing mod's personally I would use OEM mounts or even Mugen for a little bit more stiffness whilst keeping cabin vibration to a minimum.

I think people notice the benefits of new/uprated mounts most because their mounts were dead in the first place.

Hardrace.co.uk doesn't seem to be working properly, I havr found a place on ebay at a good price.

Thanks for the info:)
Comfort and vibrations are a concern for me so
I am going to look into spoon & mugen mounts aswell.

We put spoon mounts on a previous DC2, if you don't want noticeable vibration I'd avoid them, similar if not slightly stiffer than the Hardrace, if you can stretch to Mugen, id buy them. Try nengun, around £300.00 to your door for the mugen if I remember.

OEM + tigerseal, same thing & 1/8th of the price!

This, unless you are building a race car just fill your existing mounts with polyurethane. Miles cheaper than any other solution.

Rear engine mount is £35 from Tegiwa!

Bang some Tigerseal in them & go go go!!!
