I think it's worth all that money and more... or you could get one of those 'nowadays' cars like a Corsa VXR that aren't as good in any department and after 10 years will be worth half a ham sandwich and a bag of Dorito's.

Well theres a typical response on an ek9 owners club forum . Your right though Lynch, 8k will get you a lot of car for your money these days, all with most of the great benifits listed above. For example: 98 spec Integra, S2000, DC5 Type R, JDM ep3.. and thats just the Hondas. Bang for your buck wise you've got Nissan 200sx/Silvias, Type R and RA Impreza STi's, Twin Turbo Supras, MR2 rev 3 onwards imports, Evo 4/5/6/7/8. Think you get the idea...

I put of buying an Ek9 for years thinking the price will come down . It never did so I bought one from duncan . I agree with all the reasons above At the end of the day the Ek9 will take the pepsi challenge with any modern day car in the same league. Also Duncan gets Very good cars .
I have sold mine now but would never look back as I had to have one
