ek9 bug

it seems some people are never happy with cars i've only just bought an ek9 and still loving it but in the last 10 years i've had well over 20 cars almost every jap car from subarus rx7 gt4 mr2 r33 gtr glanza ep civic a change is always good, need to keep this for a while and start saving a NSX will be mine

I'm bored of seeing mine sat in the car park in a sorry state :(

I just want to drive mine again.

I'm driving a work van all week so when I get in the ej9 it feels awesome :lol:

All use are crazy lol.... Since I've owned my MK5 Golf GTI I've missed driving my 9 like mad. Ok a lot of the time the harsh ride pissed me off something awful and the engine lacking in torque was frustrating but after stringing a few bends together and taking the car to 8500+RPM I realised the main reason I bought it. It's very enjoyable to drive, looks cool and sound amazing. All cars get boring even at the best of times (unless it's a supercar:dance:)

The worst thing is I've not used my 9 for ages but the last time I did I wondered why I ever bought the Golf:drive:

Yep even though my 9 sits on the drive half the time when i take it out i still think, i know why i bought this while churping a 3rd gear limiter

Yea I had a few months where i was well pissed off with my 9, so wanted to sell it and get something newer. It had been suffering from bad idle problems, clunks and bangs coming from ****ed bushes and camber arms! :( :( BUT I bought some nice new camber and toe arms/adjusters, poly bushes, exhaust fixed at CAS, idle problem fixed by Henry, HUGE service, new brakes all round, full geo setup at CLCM, MOT and I love it again!!! :) Cost me alot of money to be in love again but it was worth it! :) lol

I'm finally getting the bug back big time. Pulled my finger out and started fitting all the shiny bits I've bought over the last six months.

well i dont own an actual 9 but somtimes i think that my ek aint worth it been 3 months sinceits bin in the garage ... and it's getting tough.

but then i remember the first time i drove it and cant wait to get back in it again, plus atm im driving a vauxhall astra 1.6 club 75 bhp oh yes, so i'l be happy getting double that back when my ek track car is finished

I really wanted to sell mine. Had it up for sale 3 times. But when it comes to it, I won't accept the money I'm offered cause I bought mine in the boom years and got all the parts and work done in the boom years so I'd rather keep it and garage it than loose 15 grand cause I've gotten picky about it.

A few country roads and I love it again but city driving is a c*nt. I'd rather a push bike in fairness

I started to lose interest purely because i moved out of home and had to be careful with my money. Then i lost my job and the new job was a pay decrease so it was even more of an inconvienience. BUT NOW, i have moved home, small rent and without rubbing it in im on 4 figures starting with 2 lol so bring it on, im going to treat her now :D

I hav'ent a EK9, but a B18C EK4, got reall down about it recently. Am 40 next Jan, and keep thinking am i too old to be driving a modded Hatch? I've sort of got the bug back, but still like newer cars, even TDI's:shocked: I don't drive mine enough, and doing 60 miles everyday to/from work is a bit much, but might underseal it and just drive it.
