Hello all, I've looked at searched around but unable to find an awnser! I've recently bought a race base ek9

It's got some bits and pieces on I'm unsure of, firstly the cage! I haven't got the pics of this yet so won't go into detail, I just wasn't sure on the manufacturer

Also, there are holes in the boot floor area, it looks like its had a brace fitted there previously, does anybody know what these are called and where I can get 1? I want to cover the old holes it's left

I think the car was used for racing in Japan, it's had extra stitch welding through out, foam filled sills, the addition of the boot brace and a full cage. The inner arch skins have been slit and rolled for more tub room also.
When I removed the rear lights to give it a good clean it looks like its had sponsor wraps or stickers on it also as some vinyl was left behind them

Somebody might have seen this on abay a few months ago with a b18c in, unfinished project

ill get some pictures up this week, it definately is interesting lol

more like a pain in the arse with all the parts missing and random odds and sods broken haha

may have had a x-brace? the ones that cover the spare wheel bit? race base ek9 caged up sounds good!

It's definitely not x brace mountings. X braces go off c pillar to strut tops, this is either side of the spare wheel well towards to rear panel of the boot

Hopefully it'll be a weapon when it's done and turbo

I have an ultra racing 4- point rear strut brace that required drilling in the boot floor

These holes weren't drilled but standard!
I think maybe they're ek9 standard holes but possibly not on other models

Are they the holes for the bolts for the rear bumper bar? Four holes altogether. Two on the left of the spare wheel well and two on the right. They are where the chassis legs run down the back of the car. Could be these if you are saying that they don't look drilled but they look standard.

Yes I believe your right mate! So that's what else is missing lol
Rear bumPer bar. More parts to my ever growing list haha

Am I right in thinking you can get a brace that uses these bolts though??

That's the brace I've seen Neil, your the best! Now a need a bumper bar aswel though lol

Yeah you can get a brace that uses these bolts but what you are missing from the car is the rear bumper bar and the four bolts that hold it to the chassis legs. I'm sure someone that is breaking a car would have all these parts but it might be hard to find a good condition bar as they are known for rusting. I'm sure Honda sell them brand new.
