is ek9 rear arb a direct swap on a ek4?!
do i really need the asr to avoid tearing out?!

Yes you really need ASR, its driect swap as long as your rear LCA can accommodate the droplinks.

the other option is to not use the ek9 arb at all. if you do reinforcement is a must OR keep a welder handy. He'll be needed to repair your subframe.
