Hi, i'm interested whati is the difference betwen these two car? I know one thing, the EK9 is 1090kg, and the EK4 is about 1200kg...and I don't know what is the difference. Thank You for the answer.

I know that the sound proofing is a part of why its heavier.

Making the cabin more quieter so there isn't as much noise inside when going on long motorway journeys etc. Basically padding to reduce as much noise as possible.

I understand. It means that : the chasys of the EK9 and EK4 is not a different chasys, but the "isolation" is different...the A/C, etc..

Am I rihgt? Sorry for these question, and thnx for the answer!!!:bow:

I don't think the EK4 is quite 1200kg, I thought closer to 1150kg?

Yes, I read that, but I don't know what is the differenc about 150kg...

Ty in all way!

!!!! were are you getting an EK4 weighs 1200kg???

I know its difficult to find acurate and reliable Std facts but as far as i have found in most places the EK4 SiR was 1100kg which makes sense as the EK9 is sposed to be 2359lb (1070kg) acording to BMR Type R legend specs and it states the type R got a 30kg diet so id say 1100kg seems more likely.

YouTube - Type-R Legend 4/6

Whach from 6.20min if you want the differences between EK4 SiR and EK9.

30kg is not really to difficult to loose
