EK4 turbo

I know there has been a post about this before guys but i just needed to clarify as no1 seemed to ask this question, I wanted to see what the best turbo kit for my ek4 vti would be and every1 was saying it was the PERFORMER X TURBO KIT, when i tried to find the kit online all i can see is that its only for a SOHC EX civic, can any1 help explain to me what i have missed or will this kit fit on my car too? again sorry but i couldnt find any answers to this in the threads.

does he sell the kit or will he just give me the turbo and charge me for other stuff cause id rather fit it with my brother get some experaince?
 
Look on there site. They'll do what ever you need :nice: . I'm waiting on a few thing myself off them, i can't wait !
 
bit random i know rich but i only just realised, I bought my car from birmingham, few hours drive but you wont believe how much more cars are over here in sheep land. most likely cause we cant count but w/e.
 
I didnt think they be that many up buy you lol. I thought it was all fields and sheep.... Well i guess fields and sheep are better than this dump lol .
 
just spoken to greg m8 and he said ill need to find a tuner for a hondata 300 (some sort of ecu thingy), oh and any idea how much theyd charge?

here what greg suggested:

Our basic street kit with the 5431 turbo upgrade would be a great fit for you.
This can also be bundled with a fuel/tuning package that would include Hondata S300, Precision 650 injectors and a Walbro 255 pump.
 
The tuning price depends where you go. I tune a few cars in my spare time and wouldnt mind doing it if you get stuck. The S300 is a option, i much prefer Ectune though to be honest.

Those parts what he has recommended sound good mate. If you search around the internet all you'll ever hear is good about them. I've yet to hear one bad comment. Vtec6000 on here will back me up on this !
 
so you reckon the package greg suggested would be better than getting the Edelbrock Performer X Turbo Kit, its about £3000 on funkypower.com and it comes pretuned and says its pretty much an install and go, nothing else to do. what ya think?
 
That kit is very expensive for what it is. Don't get me wrong there some good parts there but you'll get far better value for money off Greg. I was in your shoe's once and was going to buy that kit. I'm glad i never now.
 
k, once i get the complete turbo kit and fuel thingy off greg, what elkse do i need m8, really really new to this i mean what is every bit i need and also when u say Ectune, do you just mean this eCtune Pro
or even the one with the moates demon - eCtune Pro + Moates Demon

Yes thats what i mean mate. I'll try and find you a better place to order it from though as it will take ages to reach you if you order it from there.. Give me a pm in a couple of hours as i'm a bit busy at the moment and i'll assist you further. :)

Ive gotta wait a while anyway mate to get the money, i just pricing things up at the moment, so i can choose when my car will be off the road cause workin 6 days a week.

just checking mate what exactly is it i need from ectune as when i look to buy the ectune pro just on its own, there is a bundle to get ectune pro with moates demon, and then there like "important notes" saying i need a data-logging cable or whatever, any idea what i need just to tune my car with this turbo kit GO-AUTOWORKS Turbo Kits along with these injectors PTE 650CC Injectors and fuel pump Walbro Inline Fuel Pump Kits

Found out what im guessing is my ecu id code or whatever: 37820-p2t-g01-973-107193
 
Your going to need either a p28 or p30 obd1 ecu.

Please take a look at this and confirm the OBD of your ecu. I'm sure its OBD2.

Your going to need a OBD1 ecu and conversion harness to, you can get a package off xenocon.com which will include Ectune and everything you need. Look under savings packages for Ectune and demon bundle :nice:

P.S. Take a look at the plugs on your ecu to confirm what OBD it is. It will be round the passenger foot well. Disconnect your battery and unplug and remove it.
