EK4 Brake Pads smaller than EG6?

Perhaps someone on here have knowledge regarding my current brake issue; I've got a '96 EK4 and a '95 Del Sol ESi. The Sol has the same brakes as the eg6 civic VTi.
As the EK4 also is a VTi (Type-S), I would think the front pads were somewhat similar, but they are in fact smaller. The front discs are 262mm at least, it seems.

Anyone familiar with what brake pads I can get for these calipers? Preferably Ferodo/Mintex and the like, if you have a pad model number kicking about. If not, I wonder if the Sol's front calipers can be bolted onto my EK..

That's what I thought as well, but the caliper disagrees on this. The reason I posted is because they _are_ different. Ferodo's FCP776H will not fit at least. Perhaps the front calipers are the same size as the EG ESi hatchbacks?

I found this, the pads are marginally different by a couple of mm. I opted to sell the EG6 fit pads and buy the proper EK4 ones but either would have probably worked.

A friend of mine has an EK4 VTi (non-type S), and his EG6 pads had to have a few mm shaved off the top to fit. But my calipers are qute a bit narrower.

Do you know if it's a straight swap with the EG6 calipers? Perhaps I should hit the garage and see if I can find some markings on the caliper.

Yep, I know. But they don't fit - they're too big. Maybe the Type-S is different? Strikes me as odd that they'd downsize the caliper there though.

Oooo! Must be my search-skills that are off, I'll see what I can come up with. Thanks!

Ok, but my Ferodo catalogue says different...

I see EG9 VTi but no EG6? Not sure what an EG9 is, is that the 4 door?

I bought FCP777 listed for an EG6 and EK4s use FCP776

No idea then. Unit-8 must have sent me the wrong pads.
