hi peeps ive recently just bought a civic ek3 car is great drives great only problem is the heater inside the car is really noisey and dosent blow the air good at all it takes ages to clear windows and to get a heat etc anyone got any ideas thanks ?

the spring in my thermo-stat was stuck open and mine was nearly blowing cold air.

changed the thermo and noticed a huge difference a couple of minutes down the road.

hey i have the same prob with mine but the difrent is mine blow hot after a while and was noisey too was noisey for a litle while and about few day ago its as stop would this be the thermo and i notice when heating is on car drives smoother any help would do.

Check down at the passenger footwell, there's a rubber tube that goes into the engine bay for sucking air in. If it has a kink it will cause a loud noise inside the car. Happened to me when I took out the interior air con rad. Also check the interior filter behind the glove box. It could be full of dirt and cause a bad noise in the car. A bit more info would help too

the heating and air con works fine just isint powerfull and the more i turn the blowers up the noiseyer it gets ...?

i think we have the same prob mate but the mine is powerful and is very annoying but sometime mine goes away and comes back.

Did you check the pipe I said down at the passenger footwell?

checked the rubber hose down by the passenger footwell and it seems fine no kinks etc ..?

You checked the main relay fuse in the (fuse box) in the engine the bay?

the right answer to your problem is you need to replace the fan itself which is under your clovebox, had the same problem as well, replaced with a good second hand fan and it fixed, i think the motor in the fan gets weaker as it ages

gonna take the glove box out today and check it out plus check all fuses ill keep in touch thanks peeps :)

yeah, if all else is okay check the fan itself, it's a simple job. Let us know how you get on...
