EJ9 Civic

Ya I'm liking it a lot. The extra torque is great, even for normal tipping around driving. Feels much more responsive now and sounds a hell of a lot better too. Just trying to weed out the restrictions in the system now gradually and make it that bit more fun to drive

Quality mate, glad your liking it! Seems we are goin down the same route :)) will let you know how I get on man :nice:
@ John: Ya, hoping it makes a good difference now. Pull is very good all the way to about 5800 after the IM swap but really struggles to keep the flow moving above that range to limiter so hoping this will let if breath a bit freer. What size exhaust are you running now? Where about's are you from?
Have you still got the catalytic converter in your car? I noticed a massive difference de-catting my car, I was then inspired to change the rest of the exhaust system. :nice:
I have a 58/60mm cat back, not sure which. my header look the same as yours too.

I found a bigger increase in power in the higher revs (4/5k up to limit) having fitted the 4 branch manifold and the cat back. Hopefully you'll be satisfied with the results from the manifold when you get it on. I'm in the Roscommon/Longford area. Where are you from yourself?

Ya, cat still there but not for long. It's on it's last legs so going to pull it out and save it for the NCT and throw a de-cat in. Liking the sounds of what you said there anyway, that's where I was feeling it was lacking in power atm. Hopefully now it'll come together :)

Ah right, I'm a Galway head myself:nice:

Ah right, I'll keep an eye out for ya if I'm ever in Galway. I'll spot the car ;)

You're hardly going to the meet in Carrick at the weekend? I might wander up myself if it's not pissin rain.

Hmm, just found the thread there now. Very tempted but it'll depend how Saturday goes for me now. Have to get the coilovers in but if that goes to plan I might try make the spin over. Only about 70 miles away from me so not the longest spin :nice:

just noticed your headlights there man, they are awesome I need to get that done lol

Time for an update! Finally got the finger out and threw the coilovers in last weekend. Got a load of pics of the fitting etc. and like a fool I deleted them by accident  Anyway, today I got a chance to wash the car and while it was clean went and get some pictures :) As the title says, this is pic heavy so bear with me :p

I'll probably drop the front the last couple of mm that are left on the coilovers and might get a rear camber kit to correct the camber that's there at the minute, it's a bit excessive since the drop. Delighted with the difference they've made to the car though. Much more positive turn in and it holds the road so much better. A huge amount of adjustment too so they can be made really comfortable so I've only made them slightly stiff for now. Need to get a bolt cut on the cat and then I'll be fitting my 4-2-1 and that will probably be it for major updates until after the winter :( Money is tight enough with college as I'm sure most will know...

Looks brilliant mate especially with the coilovers fitted.

Are you still running the Twin Loop Exhaust or have you changed it? Looks mint. :D

Thanks man, appreciate it :) Yup, twin loop is still going strong. Has got a bit louder but that's what I expected and kinda wanted too :p Small specs of surface rust are developing from stone chips etc so it'll be due a good sand and polish come the new year
