Hi man. Just ignore the above cheeky comment. I can only insure a 1.4 to mate slow as, but it will do for now till i can upgrade. Get some pics up.

689R have some respect mate some people haven't slot of knowledge on cars they can only learn n here is a good place to start

get sum pics up mate my first honda was an ej9 which i rebuilt :) check my build on the forum jordan101's k20 and u will see a pick of my old ej9 and u might get some ideas form it :)

Check the builds & projects man you will get loads of ideas. Sort out a colour scheme you want to go for, get a smart set of alloys and lower it and you will be on a roll. I seen a few cars on here that i really liked so took a lot of inspiration from them. Get some pics up :nice:

yeah i've got a 2000 civic Ej9 too as my first car! just starting on it, goin to firstly get the front and rear lips, set of alloys, lower it and paint it all the one colour which is silver for me! good luck mate

Wind your neck in would yee ya keyboard warrior lol you no what he means, well i do. Good to see another n.ireland member here.As f0r jdm scene, there isn't as much of a label on it now,it really all depends on what your wanting the car for mate,if you want to do an engine swap then ul have to cover everything(suspension, brakes, exhaust etc).If your just keeping it till you get lower insurance then just make it look nice and leave it like that.

i started out in an ej9 mate no shame in it ive had 3 hondas since an have still got the 1st one! get the outside looking the part then when ur happy with it start saving for an engine conversion!
and remember you ej9 will stick with all ur mates corsas and saxos etc an uwill have alot more fun modding yours

i have to say i did lol at this statement. dont think there really is a JDM scene as such, different people like different styles. my advice would be to keep it looking sweet and save your money and build up some NCB, will make getting a more powerful car in the future alot easier...

Much better to make the car look how you want so your happy with it rather than try and fit it into a 'scene', have a look at different cars and pick and choose what bits you like, its boring if everyone has the same.
Just got my little brother an ej9 1.4 se after he drove his knackered ka into a land cruizer! He has already claimed the alloys off one of my ek4's lol.
