Hey just thought i'd share my eg9 build with yous. All the work except paint was done by myself and friend of mine

The Original Car:

The I got the eg9 shell from a mate who had left the car to rot in a field, after an unfortunate incident with a hedge.
The Good:

* Full and pretty clean interior

The Bad:

* Two Badly rotted Quarter panels
* Damaged wing, bumper and bonnet
* Bent wishbone
* Rusty f**king bolts... lots of 'em

Fuel Tuck
All braided fuel lines with AN fittings and an in line filter cleans up the firewall. The AEM fuel rail adds a finishing touch

Brake Tuck
ABS was removed and all new copper lines were run for the brakes with the splitter mounted on top of the subframe

Rad Tuck
We cut up a Tegiwa Half rad turned it sidways and added a dam making it a dual pass(which makes up for the size. Add a filler neck up to the slam panel to keep it the highest point and finished it with a push fan(mounted on the front) All the Hoses are braided with AN fittings

Wire Tuck
Every wire in or around the engine bay was either lengthened or shortened or ran through the wings to keep the bay looking a wire free as possible.

Body Work
Quarter Panels
Two new Quarter panels welded in... f**king rust!!
Aerial Delete
The aerial was removed and plated over, mainly because of rust but also because I'd never listen to the radio over Spotify or vtec
Moulding delete
The moulding were remove and the holes welded
Front Bumper
The front bumper is a home made white crow bumper, made for the standard eg9 front
Back Bumper
The back bumper is an Ek facelift back bumper which was cut and joined to fit the eg, its finished off with some Mugen Spats
Skirts
Ek skirts were used to finish us the ek plastics theme the car has going
Paint
The only thing we didn't do ourselves was Block and Paint the car that was taking care of by Morgan Autobody Repairs

Brakes & Suspension
The Subframe, Trailing arms and wishbones were sandblasted and painted gloss black then fully pollybushed. An uprated anti roll bar was was used in the back along with the usual shiny parts
Yellow Speed Super-Low Coilovers are used along with all the necessary camber and toe arms
EK9 brakes and braided lines are doing a nice job of stopping it for now

Engine
Poor Mans Type R:
I completely rebuilt B18c a block, with oversized B16a pistons,
and put a B16a head with Type R cams and Intake
Its running about 12:1 compression

Its a fine little engine for now but will be changed in the future

S4c Diff box
Custom Manifold
Apexi WS2 exhaust customised to give it a bit more of a rasp

Interior & Electrics
EK center console & arm rest

Tablet
Windows 10 Lenovo Table Installed in the Dash
Currently the tablet is running Spotify for music and Hondata S300 software with a custom gauge display. The plan is to use it to replace the Heater unit completely and use the Lenovo connected through a Raspberry Pi to control the actuators.
The Tablet will also be used for switching maps/opening exhaust flaps etc.

Gauges
Currently have an AEM Wideband which replaces the standard center air vents and there will be an oil pressure gauge put in beside it

Always been a big fan of the eg9s, it was the first vtec civic I ever had a spin in so they always seemed special to me.
