Eg6 SirII/Takata Harness Install Probs

Hi,
Like the topic says, I own a Civic Eg6 SirII, now I just installed some dc2 recaro's in it, all worked fine. Untill I wanted to fit a takate harness into it. 3 of the 4 eyebolts are going in great. The 4th one, the one next to the exhausttunnel wouldnt fit. I wanted to replace the bolt of the seatbelt with an eyebolt, like EK or DC2, but I couldnt find the place. Now has anyone a good idea where I can put the eyebolt? I can think of 2 places but witch is best? In the floor? Or the seatrail?

I have just had the same problem , i make some slight indentation in the tunnel to make the space Lol. Not the best idea but work with out comprising the safety of the eyebolt and fixing point.

The other way i believe is to weld a strong point into the tunnel on the outside and drill through and bolt in to that.

Weld? Think I'll pass on that :/
And cutting in the tunnel isn't an option aswell.
Does anyone has an other idea?

Only way to is modify so it sits right

You dont have to weld

Drill a hole in the tunnel and fit a spreader plate behind, does not need to be welded

made a custom bolt to fix it,

safest way is to drill a hole in the tunnel and have an appropriate mounting plate with welded on nut. itll sandwich the sheet metal.
