If i put 5 stud hubs off a civic type r on my eg9 including brakes and i wanted to put spoon brakes on my car do you know if i would need the spoon brakes for the type r or the ones for the sir? also do you know where i can get cheap 5 stud hub conversions and what would be a good disk to use with the spoon callipers?

spoon=overpriced hype. but to answer your question you would use the spoon calipers made for ek9. and a good rotor to use with those calipers.... spoon/endless/powerslot/etc...

BLINX IS RIGHT! if you want some good brakes i suggest endless or willwood. cheaper than spoon and better in my opinion! :D

As above, spoon dont have dust seals nor a rebuild kit, so they are fine for a race team, but for road use (espec the uk weather) they will seize up and then your stuck.

Persoanly im running 5 stud on my EG with 282mm front disks with NSX calipers, tho you could use Legend/Prelude/ITR/CRV (or hrv i forget) all will do fine. Or if you have some cash to spash, as above go for endless or willwood.
