doing b18c4 bottom end with ek9 head so want to buy a plug and play ecu ideally so likes of standard, spoon etc what you got :) for pre facelift

i have a chiped dc2 ecu. vtec on 5200 and rev limit on 9000
 
Best to get a p28 or p30 mate and get a base map put on it to suit your set up as no plug and play ecu will run it correct..

agreed but I never had any problem running a spoon ecu for years it felt great and although not full potential it was great with lowered vtec. I need it to run in car and then do japfest after which I will then maybe look at getting a mappable ecu but currently I don't have the time or funds to do so and a plug and play will do the job I need well enough atm :)
 
ooo ok does the apexi do same as spoon lower vtec to about 5500rpm?
