Hi all, Ive had a read around and noticed a few people rated the Hondata s300 highly.
My b16b isnt running quite right atm, I can get the dyno graph scanned sometime later...
I was looking for a standalone ECU but the S300J looks like a very cost effective option.
Would anyone be able to to advise me on where to get one, and a trusted tuner in Scotland? Also is there any extras needed? Cheers.

why isnt your B16B running quite right atm? what mods have you done?

It's had a fujibitsu (sp?) exhaust, exaust manifold- haven't checked the brand, aem intake which is getting replaced as it's cracked. I believe it's chipped. The problem was at 8000 rpm it dropped power, then at 8200 it rose again and hit 167bhp at 9000, limiter at 10000. Technically it should have made about 175-185 at 8000? I'll try and find a scanner to get it on here! I just drove it from Kent to north Scotland and although there were no problems apart from it lurching at 116mph (my fault as I didn't know the aftermarket rev counter and light was also a limiter and I had set it to 7k :p but generally I felt it wasn't running quite right, hard to explain, but umm fairly inconsistent? Would change character quite abit. Dunno if this makes sense!? Heh
cheers.

rev counter probably intercepts ignition output which can cause all sorts of signal interity issues if the wirings not upto it
