Earthing Kit


ye i've always wanted what the actual point of these is to ?
 
they do a little bit, but for the price i say its not worth it to jumble up your engine bay, i think RVM had the mugen kit i cant remember what he said about it though...

i think they just look a state and like you said clutter things up!

yeah dont get me wrong though they do add a little power, usually no more than 2 on our cars and the problem is you need a dyno to install them, you just keep switching grounding points untill you find which one gives the most HP.

the highest gain i ever saw was on a 500whp rx-7 it gained 15whp!! but rx-7 is different car all together, also cars that are coil on plug ignition tend to see higher gains too but not always...

if you like the looks and think its worth it then grab them but the cost can easily add up to much higher than you expected unless its a vehicle specific kit that tells you exactly where to ground each wire.
 
i have an hks kit in purple specific to an ek on e bay at the mo, i removed it because i don't like the look of it,the japs fit these for function rather than looks as with other parts like the silly massive rear view interior mirrors and bright pink cup holders and crap like that,in fact i have a massive sun glass holder on the interior of my ek4 sir lol, gets massive points for jdm exclusivity but its crap really.:lol:
