Haha, I know :nice:

The head has been skimmed and had the guides checked for play (they are spot on so no need for any more head work). It also has new Valve stems seals so they're cool.

The bottom end is just being finished at the shop, bored and honed to .25 pistons and then skimmed.

Finally had the last couple of parts arrive today that I need to get the rebuild under way... should be together in the next couple of weeks and (fingers crossed) be back in the car. :)

Im been after the Tein bonnet dampers for awhile but everywhere I look they are crazy money :shocked: Did u get them for a good price?
 
with the sump is there fiddling about you have to do with the moroso's ? is it just straight fit ?

Yeh got them as part of a larger order from the US... worked out ok :))

Head is on too... just unbolted some of the ancillaries from the ****ed engine to go onto the new spanker... hopefully should be doing the swap next sat. New engine spec will be:

Spoon Stroked B16B
Oversized (bored), Honed and Skimmed
Honda 0.25 B18CR Pistons
Honda Full Genuine Bearing Set

ARP Rod Bolts
