I would say hold onto it m8 at least until next year when your situation might change! I have a jordan which i am currently doing a conversion to as well as a evo 9 and i can assure you the running and maintenance cost are a league apart. I work 7 days in my dads garage and still struggle to run the 9 :p I think if u were to keep the ek9 and buy a wee runaround like an eg or ej9 which is cheap to run will give u a lot more money on the side to save up!
 
I'd say good luck in selling it ive had mine on the auto trader for a month now. The only people that get in touch are wanting to part ex against it and ive already bought the replacement :angry2:

aint the best time to sell you car either mate to be honest and agree with the point that your tight for cash so selling it for an evo aint gonna help lol, fuel bills alone will **** you never mind insurance, tax :blabla:

If it comes to it and you sell it you can pick up tidy eg sir2's for cheap the now and as you mentioned dc2's are cheap now as well, hope you make the right decition man :nice:
 
get another job on the side?

work behind a pub like one or two evening, cash in hand + tips would be ok money

as its cash you very rarely need to touch your bank account

when i was 16 i worked at a supermarket 12 hours a week did 3-4 hours a week at a pub before i knew it i was saving quite good money and somehow bought myself a 1k bike lol
 
damn 12 hours a week..i got an ef right now im trying to sell right now
 
Get a bike and take the 9 off the road , O and a big coat
