Hi, just got my EK9 last week and my speedo goes up in mph but i think my odometer is clocking km's, is this possible or do they use the same sensor? i kinda hope its going up in miles as i put in £30 of optimax and only got 150 miles/kilometers. Any help much appreciated.

arite mate im possitive its on the same sensor as your speed is readin mph then your odometer will be goin up in miles and 150 miles sounds about rite to 30 quid of optimax . i fill my 9 with between 44 to 48 quid and never manage to get any more than 220 miles from a tank .

Yeh im hoping its going up in miles as 150 miles wouldint be too bad for £30 of fuel. I will need to use another car to go from A to B then use the civic and check. Do you know if it is easy to wind the civic clocks back? I have wound up lots of HGV tachometers as i used to work on HGV's as an apprentice so hopefully just the same idea

yeah it will be reading miles mate im 100% sure . yeah clocks are easy to wind back as i done my own wen changed from kmph to mph and done mates teg as well .

Thanks for that, i will give it a go one night this week, did you use a little screwdriver to wind them back? are each of the numbers on a clutch if you know what i mean? ie you need to move one of the digits to the side with the screwdriver to allow you to wind the digit next to it? if that makes sense lol.

that calculates out 2 25mpg DANGER!

that makes no sense! that could only be calculated as an average, with unknown driving conditions etc.

Does anyone know whats involved in changing an odometer fromn miles to Kms? I bought a civic in the US and has to be in kms to register in canada, anyone know whats involved?
