Ok we here in the U.S never recived the CTR, so all i have to go on is pic.
I ordered a CTR rear rebar and put it on.....2 things came to mind.
1st does this look right? or should it be pulled out a little more?
2nd.....how save is this in a crash?

If I'm not mistaken, it just bolts in with pre-selected holes, so how could it be wrongly placed?
In a crash it's of course going to be a little less sturdy than the stock beam, but not by a huge margin.

I think it would be by a huge margin, you talking about a thin tube here!! Most argue that the piece above is not even a bumper reinforcement and actually acts more to tie the rails together for chassis rigidity.

Its just that iv been looking at other pic's and mine seems a little bit to far in,
I put it in the correct holes, just wanted some confirmation.

did you see any difference in rigidity? How much did you pay for it? Can you provide as with a part number? Thanks a lot!

The ride feels the same
Price, $100.00 U.S.
Part number.......i dont know, i bought it used.
But JDMland.com sell them.

Yes that's true, for some reason I forgot it's just a tube. They don't have the same safety laws in the Japan as they do in the US, it really is just to tie the halves together.

thanks a lot! Is it heavy?

The weight is next to nothing.
I think the U.S. weighs about 30 to 40 pounds, the CTR i about 3.

I was thinking that same thing, this may be one resion way the CTR was never brought over here.
