Dixcel Brake Special offer!

type Z pads really are savage, i used to run them just with the PD plain discs and very impressed work VERY well from cold too, they have a better bite than my Endless CCX from cold but about on par with them once up to heat

they do give off a fair bit of dust but it's to be expected really with performance pads!

oh and Dixons service is great, ordered a few bits from him now and impressed :nice:

Thanks Steven!

For road use, you won't be able to tell big different when the pad are heat up. Is not easy to get pad fade on road anyway.

But when you go on track, then it will tells you everything. The Z pad is just impossible to get it fade. We proved it again yesterday at brands hatch, with 450bhp RX7 only running standard caliper and our FCR slot disk all round with Z pad. Did over 100 laps (most under 58secs a lap) yesterday and never have any fading problem.:)

fitted tonight
fcr front slot discs, rear slot discs and type Z pad,
done about 40 miles of gentle bedding in and they are aweseome already, got to give them some real stick now and see what they are like, cant wait!!

well after 2 trackdays at castle combe i can report that these brakes are nothing short of amazing, once bedded in teh stopping power i had was phenominal and seeing as i was doing 20 - 25 minute sessions lapping at a consistant fast pace 1 min 24s i was amazed that the brakes did not show a single hint of fade, these brakes work just aswell cold as tehy do warm, i have tried many different things in teh past on my other cars,
EBC`s - rubbish, ferodo ds2500`s - good but used to pick up on teh discs quite frequently and cause judder.

but nothing compared to these dixel brakes,

looking forward to the nurburgring in teh summer now with the confidence that i can stop and they will not fade..

only running DOT5.1 fluid at the moment too, going to upgrade to RBF 600 or castrol SRF next as the pedal would be a bit long when initially going out for another session,

in total this weekend i have done about 110 laps of castle combe and the brakes were still perfoming just as good as when i fitted them, very impressed,

dixon, do you still have some plain 282mm x 23mm discs but in 4x100 Pcd ? can you do them at same special offer price ?

Yes, we have special made 282mm disk in 4 x 100 PCD in stock, they are only made in FCR Carbon plain disk. They are £220 for a set of front disk.

cheers,

Dixon

noticed you mentioned a rx7. I have one and use it primarily as a track car, with the same power as the one you mention. do you have prices you could PM me for all the rx7 stuff, the carbon stuff and race goodies sound excellent, are the discs and calipers bigger on any of your products too or do they directly replace stock size? im running 17x10 wheels all round. a nice big whoor of a set would look decent, not to mention perform! the brakes have mild upgrades at the moment but a killer disc and pad/caliper set would really sort the car performance wise for my needs. its a bugger being out braked by sumthing only to absolutely spit roast it up the straights and long corners again...and so on and so on...

are the discs for the ek9 also larger and is the caliper different, i have 15inch volk te37's at the moment, again, bigger would look and perform better. i like your prices for the ek9 stuff i must admit :)

if you could give me all your info about both cars that wud be ace...

brake dust dont bother me, the car is valeted once a week and i wash every 2nd day

my dixels are stock size replacements,

i expect dixon has options though

We have either OEM standard replacement size or if you have aftermarket caliper then we also have Bell Type replacement disk and pad which support up to 380mm F50 Kit.

For the RX7, please check PM for the price list

thanks
