Difference between facelift & pre-facelift?

Hi guys,

still going on with the search for an EK9 and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the differences between the facelift & pre-facelift are.

The only thing I can tell are the front bumper and on the interior the centre console. Are there any other features/differences that im missing?

Sorry if this has been covered before, did a search and couldn't find it.

rear lights are slightly different. not sure if the facelift came with two air bags.and the pre came with 1 as an optional.might be wrong on that.

There are a lot of differences, including for example ABS, the facelift has a honda second gen abs, which is better.

I recommend you having a look at this too threads, you will see that there are a lot of difference, not just the bumper, dash board etc..

Also keep in mind that the pre facelift (before june 1998) has a obd2a ecu harness, and the facelift ( july 1998 + ) has a obd2b conversion harness.

Cheers guys, bit confused on the OBD business. Guessing this has something to do with with plugging in Apexi FC's and VTEC controllers which is on my mod list... which is best for this or does it not matter
