death of a ek9???


Prepare for another EK9 to be broken off..hopefully they see Kozy's post and fix it
 
Of they see this I have a low millage b16b forsale I'm willing to let go pretty cheap can be heard running
 
Ah seriously unlucky. My mate once drive his gen 2 mr2 through such deep water it came through the vents and dash lol! It came out the otherside running on 2 cylinders. After changing the interior and getting all the water out the cylinders. No serious damage!
 
don't like this thread my ed7 died in a big puddle last month only just got it running again

yeah luckily wasnt my ek but still now i'm very cautious of puddles in it and yeah makes me want standard airbox as intake is in the front bumper vents at moment

Ye i dont trust the aem design etc having the filter so close to the ground! at least with the oem setup you have some splash protection etc.
 
yeah my friend had a hydraulic lock in his teg a good few years ago now, i was amazing to see his bannana shaped con rods ha ha.

i also got stuck this week in the floods

lucky for us there was a tracked missle launcher driving past and he gave us a tow ha ha

we later found out the nearside drive shaft had popped out of the hub so we only had 5 wheel drive
