DC5=disapointment

Prefered my EK9 B18C-R to my DC5 and it was definetly quicker. Miss the rawness of the EK9:(
 
with a few tweaks i reacon you could be happy with the dc5 jase the ek9 is more raw etc but do you think you can live with vtec not kicking in till 6000?? sometimes it gets on my tits especially when following toddys jdm ep3 with final drive i reckon you should put a final drive in her that'll livin it up a bit :))

lol just txt you. I've sold it mate!

the vtec don't kick in until 6000rpm on the teg to. that didn't bother me.

just kinda got my heart set on a 9 :secret:
 
dont forget young vicky she can give it some too , also better to look at:nice: dc5 was going to be the next car aint so sure now , on the integra forum the dc5 was described as "a dc2 in a fat suit "
 
just been to see jase took him out in the 9 i think hes loving it next up test drive in a dc2 and jdm ep3 :))

i cant believe you sold it jason!:nono: you should of least dropped it on springs and do a fast road set up on it! that improved my car so much! like matt said you should go up the road in my car, 5.1 final drive, toda exhaust, mugen air box and mugen ecu dropping vtec to 5200 rpm! any time you want a run give matt a text:drive:

I like the DC5 more refine feel, with suspension tweak, it handles just as well...at first i was at bit skeptical but now i see why the DC5 lot praise a fast road setup.

there is no way a DC5 is slower than a EK9...maybe comparable to B18, but on equal terms...the K20 is for a fact faster (well maybe not UK Ep3..since i was supprise it didn't pull away from me the other day...)

anyway wanna swap (original poster)?

for a more grown up car, i thnk the DC5 is excellent.
Personally i didnt like it when i test drove it, but by any means its still a good car

Personally get a DC2 unless you plan to B18 the EK9. For me they are not fast enough. Handling second to none but down on power.

The EP3 is faster that a 9 even the UK one. I know.
 
Sad to hear about the preface lift DC5, even in Japan they didn't like it as much as the old generation Type R's. The face lift version is apparently better, suspension + handling wise and feeling. Comparing the EK9, EP3 and DC5 there isn't much difference difference on the road but there might be a bigger difference on the track DC5 and the EK9 that is.

i know i sold it quick/didn't give it much time etc

but financial reasons came into account too..

i think the 9 is powerful enough for me although i'm tempted by a dc2!
