Hi, has anyone ever seen or heard of dc5 brembos bein fitted to ek9. Looking for bigger brakes but trying to keep it cheap as possible
are you endurance racing or making really big power that you're overwhelming the stock brakes?
better to go for NSX calipers
they are 4 pot and bolt straight on
DC5 will need hubs knuckles changed
Yeah there only two piston callipers.. The 97+ Caliper has 1 larger piston than the previos ones.. The disc should fit 16's too and they have the same size front pads as d pads on the Dc2 nd prelude V-tec i think..
well mate i didn't get any pictures yet but i will get some.
for the dc5 brakes to fit he used the ek9/dc2 disks on the front. he needed to get a spacer. i'll find out exactly what size. he put the spacer in behind the disk to bring the disk out and then the brembo caliper just fitted perfect. he might need to get longer wheel studs. its a nice job. as for the back. he got to use the dc5 disk to. he had to put the right caliper on the left side and the left caliper on the right side. he had to do this because the brake line and handbrake cable are on the opposite end on the ek9 and the dc5 hope this helps and you can understand it
