dc2 r cross member

hi guys...

does anyone here know what is the advantages of using the dc2 type r front cross member? is it more rigid?is it lighter or heavier?im comparing it with normal civic ej/ek 4 door cross member.what i know is it is different in design.anyone here is using dc2 r cross member on their ek/ej?

Hmmm seems a bit pointless to me i carnt see it making to much diffrence. But i could be wrong

to my understanding the dc2 r cross member is more rigid.but it is heavier than normal ek/ej cross member.unlike ek9 where it is rigid and lighter compared to dc2 r.this is what my mechanic's said.i juz want to confim this.anyone?
