Dc2 alloys on ek9, opinions?

Hello there, just interested in hearing some peoples opinions on what alloys I should go for.

Firstly I have a black ek9 with original white alloys, i've been thinking about getting the dc2 alloys with the 10 spokes (sorry im unsure of what year of dc2 theses came on or weither they're of the jdm version). What are peoples opinions of the dc2 alloys on an ek9?

Secondly what do the ek9 alloys usually sell for in good condition, I tried to find a set for sale but no luck!

DC2 alloys on Ek's look the dogs B******S!
96 spec wheels only have 4 studs.
JDM 98 spec+ wheels are 16" 5 stud.
Euro spec are 15" 5 stud.
 
Big fan of the 98 specs on a 9 like. The uk/euro spec 15s look really good as well as shown in the thread linked above. Cant go wrong imo
 
Do it. Get the silver ones. I had them on my ej9 and do regret selling

 
Euro spec all day over the JDM. Less weight, see more of them for sale.
Standard JDM tire size is silly expensive if you're really fussy about wanting to keep it as "from factory"
 
DC2 98 spec alloys look amazing on EK's.
Should of come as standard.

Where abouts are you. I have a really tidy set of grey Integra wheels and need some oem ek9 wheels. Could do a swap if you want.
Also got some JDM 98+ dc2 16" wheels in white for sale.

Check out the thread above. As for the value of EK9 wheels it really depends on their condition, in good average condition I'd say around £150 tops for the wheels alone, maybe a bit less. I bought a set of a bit worse than average EK9 wheels for £100 last year.

Cheers for the link, yea thats the ones alright! Think im definitly goin to go for them although i'd thought they'd have fetched abit more than that but dont really mind as long as i can have mine sitting on a nice set of dc2's :)

Hi Dunx im in North Ireland so would be abit of effort shipping both sets etc although once I get a set of the dc2 alloys i'll pm you if your maybe interested in taking them because i'll be wanting to clear up space anyway.

I posted my 16" dc2 alloys from NI to Birmingham for £45. Just a reference for you.
 
Thats not too bad tbh thought it might have been more, but i'll see how things go within the month because at the moment money could be better spent. Getting the exhaust sorted on tuesday then timing belt kit so we'll see how things go. Where abouts in NI are you from bud, im in belfast?
 
Down in Tyrone, would be too feared to own an ek9 in Belfast. Caught a few louts hanging at my car the last time I had it parked up there!
 
Keep the white OE alloys and lower the car imo looks so simple but so good
 
i've a set of 15" Dc2 alloys with great tyres on them there if your interested ,i'm also in Belfast so saves u the hassle of shipping ( sorry dunx ).

also have 16" jdm but they're on my integra . ill pm you my number if interested.

You will when you will be buying new tyres lol. I must admit 16" do look good, but 15" is plenty big for a EK I reckon, you can spend the money far better elsewhere!
