D16Y7 Turbo... ECU problems

Hey guys, Im new to the tuning section of things.... Im building a d16y7 turbo. Have the general amount of all my parts I just need to figure my ecu and such.... as far as tuning goes what is recommended? I know that the y7 turbo is not as popular as the y8 and z6 turbo.... Obviously doing the y7 because a) lower compression b) not as much lift. I just dont understand ecu stuff and tuning.... will the p28 obd1 ecu work? Tune on chrome?
Please help, I really want to finish this thing up!

P28 will be needed as obd2 ecus supposedly are not chippable.

you might need a conversion harness too

Sorry to sound like a bit of a d*ck but..... If your building a Y7 turbo and you don't have a clue about engine management it's time to take a step back, do your homework, that way it'll get done correctly.

agreed a motor can as complex as the space shuttle if the engine management isn't correct you'll never hit space no matter wat you do
