CTR or SiR?

guys sorry to botehr again but here are better pix of the headlights. Does it look like CTR or SiR? I heard the SiR use Chrome housing which is exaclty the same color as the Chrome in USDM headlight. Is that true? And CTR headlight have a slight black/dark housing.

yes that is absolutely correct :nice:
 
Facelift JDM EK4 SiRs came with the exact same darkend headlights from the factory as EK9 Type R's.

Sorry, they don't. It would be degrading the Type R brand.
 
You should check for the Honda and stanley mark engraved on the cover. I can't see any. And colour looks wierd but maybe it's your pics that are offsetting the colour.
 
I can see parker lights too, So most likely genuine... :nice:

Prefacelifted headlights are not as flashy as facelifted ones. So sometimes it's hard to tell on pics.
 
the glare quite often makes it hard to tell on pre-facelift whether they are SiR or CTR. I had a wallpaper on my PC about a year ago that was of a Pre-Facelift CTR and it appeared to have SiR headlights until I noticed the color was a little off. Turns out, they were the CTR lights just with a bad glare from the sun.
