Crunchy feel

Not sure on the after or the why, but my fork is being done also m8. TGM didnt replace it first time when I had the MF gears put in, but with crunching from 4th to 5th maybe its trial & error to see what fixes it?

Agree! I would say to anybody who is having any bits changed/uprated to get as much done as possible to the box to save the time/hassle & money. My gearing is still the best mod for the money tho! :nice:

Got the gearbox back from TGM 2 days ago, and installed it yesterday.
Result....
Warmed it up to allow oil circulation for 20 mins. Then i had a test with the 2nd to 3rd shift. Absolutely perfect!!!! No crunch wotsoever. syncro and selector fork replaced with HOnda MTF oil

ok... have another problem now :(
today i took the car for a normal drive to town and back and i had trouble shifting into gear at low rpms. am i right to think that it could be the clutch plate, or the slave cylinder? could clutch fluid be any concern?
whilst my gearbpx was at TGM, my ca was on axle stands, covering only the exposed part of the gearbox. this was left for 2 weeks. i put honda mtf oil into the gearbox.
any help would be much appreciated.

just took the car to TGM and they discovered two perished engine mounts and low gearbox oil. These were the symptoms that caused the above problem. Luckily, it didnt damage anything! all good now though :) booked in for replacements

only had my 9 for a week and when in vtec goin from 3rd to 4th at high rpm there is a slight crunch, problem only developed yesterday just wondering what the best thing to is ?

Sounds like worn selector fork would be number one choice for me, possibly a synchro.

yeah, every other gear in all rev range is fine only 3rd to 4th at high rpm.
