conversation i over heard while shopping...

The difference is that my set of cams or rims or whatever don't play stupidly loud music while I drive at a snails pace circling KFC with my windows open unlike the 'set-ups' people have in England. If you just like crystal clear music at normal levels then that's brilliant but most people in England only buy them to do the former. Perhaps it's different in the Netherlands.
Of course we have those guys here. But also enough people that only play loud where other people are not annoyed by it and also want quality. We even have 3 competition category's:
- SPL (sound pressure level)
- SQL (SQ and SPL crossover)
- SQ (sound quality)

No-one needs a music system that is able to go louder than their factory standard speakers in my opinion.

X2 IMO pouring money into a system in a car is a waste of money and it makes you look like a **** on the streets.

IMO I'd rather have a decent sound system at home, very high quality home cinema. Keep it at home, not in the car. Do you really want to sound like a mobile disco?

i dont really care what other people think of me in my car so why not have both?:clap:

Maybe you buy things that others like instead of yourself, but I don't :)

Why not both? I have a Parasound power amp and Tannoy subwoofer eg. Audison and Alpine in my car. I really don't give a rats ass what others think of me :p What I do is keep my music down where it bothers people. Turn it up on the highway, turn it down in neighbourhoods. Not because I care what others think, but because I don't want to bother other people with it.

i have it quite loud say 15 (20 is loud) when i am moving and when im at the lights depending where i am i will turn it down to about 10 and when im in a coldysac or a little close i will turn it down and get my revs down and turn of my lo-beam if there are street lights just to prevent my lights going in to peoples houses

Besides, a lot of the people here that are against loud stereo's are also against loud exhaust systems I may hope? :)

i got both tbh lol, but i didnt mean for my exhaust to be as loud as it is

hahah thanks, i dont care what people think of me, its what i think that matters
i wish people i knew would think like that

Yeah, ladidadi **** everybody, as long as you don't hurt anyone :D

If you need in car entertainment your car isn't entertaining enough.

No car is entertaining enough if you're just cruising at 75mph or if you're in a traffic jam ;)
