I dont use this part, but I know it works, have them make it right for you if I can recommend. The part works if its the right part.

Box may be right, part in box may be wrong.

Just put the 2 nuts on the front to lock against each other

That won't work. Will just push the whole lot out as the hole on the brace isn't threaded.

This must be the case, can't see I'm the first person to come out and say this part doesn't fit. Anyone got a picture of There's installed?

no thats how they fit....

they are ****.

Seriously?
How are they still allowed to sell those on this forum? Selling that is like being scammed IMO, your paying for a part that fits and works this part does neither.
I may aswell make one from cardboard and sell them to everyone on here.

This is the correct orientation of the brace, but as you said there is not enough room for the red stopper at the end. Not much you can do apart from drill out the holes to give you more room or just not use the red bit.

Is not using the stopper Likely to damage the end of the master cylinder?

its not just that there isnt enough room for the red stopper, the bolt is out of line aswell. i ended up just getting a genuine cusco one fits spot on.

ive learnt pay less, pay twice. sad but true

Oh right..

Must have been modelled on a smaller servo/mc civic , leaving no space for the red cup part on an EK9

I assure you I won't be paying twice. Sending this scrap metal back.

sorry to say you will.. its not just us "unlucky" lot its all of them :(

its a shame because a master cylinder stopper is a must have!

maybe its worth spending a tad more on a proper part then, as I know these do work.
A monkey could put one of these together, honestly!

Spending a tad more on a piece of metal with one bolt and a few holes makes no sense to me. If tegiwa can produce these for the price they do it shouldn't cost them anymore to produce the bloody thing right,

Measure twice cut once kinda thing :angry2:

Needless to say i'll modify my own when i get it if it's as bad as the fit above. They should not be sold when the design is so bad. :angry2:

You got a point there...sad but true point.

We actually have a few EK's that we can get our hands on so we'll get one fitted and see what's up. The red part has never fitted on the EK9 as the MC is longer. It is not essential though.
