Cold air induction kit

Hey, I'm getting a new induction kit soon and I can't decide on a cold air one or a normal one. I've heard that the cold air induction kit can get very dirty easily and is dodgy when there is floods. I want to get a cold air induction kit because the bhp is better and there is more deep roar out of it but is it worth my while.:thanks:

consider having a dc2 airbox with a better filter.

i wouldnt have thought you'd notice a massive noise diff with a feed buddy, but im using a dc2 intake with a spoon filter in my ek, and i cant fault it at all

There's only really floods at 1-2weeks of summer in ireland,you can just stick your original airbox back in at that time, i've ordered a bmc cda which like said is used by many motorsport teams, although there are many cold air intake options out there, i should have it on my 9 by tues hopefully, i'll give you my opinion on it if you like?
