Do you guys remember who I am? Many of you guys kept telling me to get the proper 1996 CTR front lip, and get a CTR wing. Luckily, I got both, and here's what my car looks like now. I put an extremely lot of work into this car, and I clean it every night if I drive the car that day. It's still not its complete final form yet. Hope you guys like the video as much as I did. Enjoy! =)

LOL! Dude, u have no idea how many ppl keep telling me that. Same answer "I'm not gonna lower it any more cuz I just paid $2000 for this paint job so I don't want to scratch the lip." thanks for the advice tho. lol

It looks like you followed that side marker cutout diagram that's everywhere on the net... it looks a tad bit too high.

lol^^ I just noticed that:)

But hey! great work. Car looks super fresh! props

Dude, u have no idea. The DIY on the internet was like 3 inches higher!!!! I noticed it right away so I adjusted the height right away after looking at a couple of ek9 pictures.

nice dude, alot of time and effort good project hope mine turns out for the best!

Perfect! I recently lowered my car all the way down. It can't go any lower in the back so i lowered it all the way down so that all four corners are same height off the ground. My Skunk2 sleeves on KYB struts doesn't allow me to go any lower. It looks extremely nice rite now. Thanks for the advice! =)

nice! do all us civics have no sunroof?

In America, ALL the 96 - 00 Civic HATCHBACKS don't come with sunroof. This is why it is nice making it a Civic Type R replica exterior wise a good choice bc it's really hard to get rid of that sunroof in other countries to have a ctr replica. LOL. America treats their 96 - 00 civic hatchbacks like trash, it comes with the minimum luxury features. The highest model is the Civic DX which is the LOWEST model in CIvic history nowadays. There's no power windows, power locks, power steering, power mirrors, no nothing! There's only two models, the CX and the DX. THe CX is the LOWEST civic model in America ever made. The DX [higher model] has extra features like rear window wiper, a longer stock wing, orange gas light when ur low on gas, stuff like that which is still not luxury at all. LOL. Who cares, i love simple old cars anyways. I love old stuff a lot.

great work mate loved the video :) looks a lot better since i last saw it :) new lips ;)

wow thats one basic model in the first pic never seen one that. are them steels standard for the car

I hope for the best of you. It took me an extremely large amount of time and a lot of money to have the look like it is today. My paint job was $2000. My brother got the rims for me so I don't know the price. It's the factory stock Honda Civic HX rims so it's probably like around $250? Good luck. This picture u showed me, is this the most recent look of it?

P.S. I'm about to post a thread of my car's photoshoot from yesterday. The area was like once in a lifetime for some people so I was so lucky to have my camera. Look for it, i'll post it up really soon.

i got all the time in the world! yea thats pictures is very recent lol i got nothing in it yet i has only 85000 miles on so i guess it will be a good project car!! know low miles can u put pic of the inside of ur car!??????

Great work man. Car looks so clean and it's obvious you've put in a lot of effort. Glad to see you didn't put type-r badges on it too. Hate when people try to pretend it's something it's not! It's running a D16 is it? B series time I think. It definitely deserves it :)

Yeah I'm getting the B16A2 this september! Finally! I've been waiting over 2 years for this september to come. Anyways, I'm sorry for u to hear this but I'm going to have to put the Civic Type R sticks and badges around the car just like the real ek9 bc I am making a replica. I understand what u mean wen ppl put ctr stuff on civics that don't even look close to a ctr especially on the coupes and sedans civics. But my car is really going to look like a real ek9.

Obviously a majority of the EK hatchbacks in the States aren't actual CTRs, and only so many people are willing to go through the process of legalizing one. But as Michael says, it's a replica, and with replicas we try to get the cars to look as close to the desired model as possible; with that said, it would be that much more incomplete without the badges.

Who isn't aspiring to make their USDM Civics into EK4- and EK9-look-alikes, right? Great start. In *my opinion*, I think the spray-painted HXs look horrible. Since you spent 2 grand on the paint job, I think you should invest an amount equal to the *quality* of your paint job on a nice set of rims. Now I understand that the HX rims are made by Enkei, but they don't really do the car any justice, especially spray painted. Try for a rear disc setup or source out EK9 suspension 'cuz it'll do that much more for your car. Just my two cents.
