i have a jdm milano 96' integra quite rare in this colour

ive seen a jordan for sale around the corner from me and i really do like it

How do people think it compares to the teg? im guna look at it next week but just wondering before hand

and whats the difference between these and the ek9 type r's??

think i would miss the b18 compared to b16?

also parts look like they are easier to get for the jordan
last but not least what wheel pcd do they have 4x100 or 4x114?
:)

what price do they sell for aswell? around??

4 x 100 yes, the jordan wont be as fast or handle quite as well in standard form

I have a jordan and one of my best friends has a dc2. You will miss the b18 as my car cannot keep with his teg right enough his is a very fast dc2 :) but b18 are more torquey but I love my b16 still quick and surprises alot of things.

There is lots of difference between a jordan and ek9, engine is different, arb, brakes, looks, weight the way the drive.. list is endless lol

Also 4x100 :)

If I was you I wouldnt go from a jdm teg in milano red to a jordan.

4x100 wheel pattern, had one myself with a few mods there very capable cars

thanks for the reply guys ive updated the top to the link and what average price do they sell for?

i think the best thing i need to do is test drive it

I personally would not downgrade to a Jordan from a DC2-R (If condition and the like is similar), But that's my opinion, you might be prefer the Jordan looks etc... You'll be sliding around those yellow and black leather-ette seats compared to the recaro's lol.

its all down to what YOU want.....never feel pressured by anyone into a decision!

I have no experience with the DC2's but i love the Jordan! At the end of the day it is just a yellow vti......so in most peoples eyes it will be a downgrade! I recommend a wee spin in one see how it feels before swapping and regretting! :nice:

With a few mods they are very good and either the leather re-done or some recaro's in there will freshen up the interior! ( i went custom recaro speeds in black and yellow :p ) As for engine mods, 200bhp will be a push N/A from what i have heard but a basic turbo kit is available for the B16A2, with videos on youtube of a Jordan running 330bhp (Reliability at that power with standard internals is a question though!!) but 250bhp + can be achieved! If the engine goes, drop a B18C4 in there ;)

Oh and the exhaust on it is HORRENDOUS!!! If you get it, bin it :nono:

When buying, check there is a plate in front of the gear stick, as previous owners tend to keep them, this is the only thing that indicates what jordan number it is out of 500. Check rear arches for rust, as per all ek typical faults. Smoke in vtec, again usual checks....

Loads to be done to a jordan, great following of guys and gals with jordans too, anything else let me know, happy to help buddy! Even join the civicjordan.co.uk forum see if there is any history on there? I dont recognise it personally!

Good luck whatever you do bud :drive:

thanks for that mate just what i was looking for really :)

think it will come down to just driving it and seeing

looks like ive kicked up abit of bother with the jordan owners here now though haha

Interior has always been a touchy subject....its a hate or love relationship :p

Mines is tucked away in the loft :nice:

I went to look at that Nino & its on like 130k and the guy has literally no paperwork with it not even a V5 so no idea of service history or anything

ahh really dale it looked good! i might just take it for a test drive and see whats what

I have a DC2 (jdm '96) and we have just bought a Jordan for the mrs (seemed oddly cheap to insure as a first car). The DC2 is a bit special the vtec is very kick up the arse theatrical and it just sticks to the road. in camparison the Jordan is 'just a civic' but a very nicely specced one at that. the engine has been played with in this one as it made 178.somethingBHP on the Dyno at Eurospec, but its still a good way off being at quick as the DC2. I like the interior but its not supportive like the recaros, its just a nice leather interior. The Jordan is much more refined and squishy than the DC2 I do prefer it some days for commuting in, but I wouldn;t swap my DC2 for one as my only fun car.

hi mate , i use to have a jordan and ive just brought a dc2 , the jordan is good and it looks nicer than the dc2 but the b18c enigne is too fun :)

I think you would regret it but depends what your after. Im curre tly trying to sell my mrs jordan its got low miles but needs bodywork attention on archs. Im asking 2k for it to give an idea on price. So if you sway down the jordan route sell the teg and buy one or mine lol then spend funds you have making it your own. I find its a gorgeous colour but dont like the interiors yet take out the front seats fit black recaros and itll be a winner in my eyes.
