Civic ek4 vti (esi on logboog cheaper insurance)

How can it be a 2000 on a S reg, 2000 is v,w & x?

esi with a B16A2 registered 2000 and is a pre facelift ek4 VTI on an S registration ..

:wtf:

yeh thats correct.
it was registered/used overseas in 2000 as the logbook says.

You guys serious?? A ringer? You mad?
Honda made a lot of logbook errors. Like with the vti and vti-s
This car was registered overseas too as it says on the logbook. It was an error whoever registered it again. Which is a bonus.
Last owner didn't bother changing it as it was cheaper to insure. That's his own words.

Obviously sounds dodgy, but it can happen. My mate had a DC2 on a 2004 (04) plate if I remember correctly.

GLWTS mate, looks like a descent wee motor. :nice:

There are thousands and thousands of V5s with errors out there. I did buy a Seat Ibiza from my friend a few years back, it was his dad's old car my friend inherited and it was in the family from new. When we were filling in the log book I noticed it said ''5 door hatchback'' when in fact it was a 3 door. I phoned up the dealership where the car was originally purchased and they did check their records for me and confirmed that indeed the car is 3 door and DVLA had incorrect details on their database since it was registered! So I just sent a letter to DVLA along with the new keeper bit and they changed it. Apparently this is not at all uncommon.....

Just so you guys know, it may be common but thatbdoesnt change anything the fact remains it is still wrong.. BTW vti and vtis is simply some spoliers and colour, same chassis and engine. 3 door hatch and 5 door hatch is very minimal on insurance..

Esi registered 2000 is completely different to a prefacelift ek4.. Possibly 1000's chepear to insure...

And You KNOW there is an error with the log book so in actual fact its classed as negligence on your behalf as it is your duty of care to get it changed..

Just letting you know how it is.. not trying to offend anyone but it annoys me when people think this isn't anything to worry about..

^^^^^ this

also it may be cheap to insure but it will technically be uninsured and if you were to crash it into someone no insurance company would ever cover it as it is clearly not the car The dvla think it is. You'd be better off registering it legally and selling it glws though
