Civic coupe exhaust HELP!

I'm putting a b18c4 in my civic coupe ej8 soon and I'm wanting a full 2.5" exhaust system,I was wondering if a civic hatch exhaust would fit (I think it would be too short...) or if a DC2 teg exhaust might fit. Any ideas?
 
hatch will not fit, unless you extended the tail pipe more as the coupe is longer.
Not sure if the DC2 will fit or not.
2.5". just have one custom made to fit your coupe.
 
civic hatch with be too short. I am sure I have heard that a dc2 exhaust will fit, not 100% sure maybe someone can clarify this :)
 
Yeah I thought it would be too short. I'm still an apprentice so my wages can't really stretch to custom made parts :(. Hoping a dc2 will fit
 
Ive done abit of research on this and tbh honest im not much wiser. I was after fitting a dc2 backbox on my em1 and from what i can gather it will fit but will fall short of the bumper but im pretty sure from what ive read the rest of the system will fit. Have a search on the america forums as they have more coupes than us and if you end up fitting one post a pic up :)
 
Aww man,looks like I'm gona have to do some research! Ill post what I've done when I eventually get some sort of shiney pipes fitted mate haha
 
Stop your winging. Do do some research or buy the exhaust and find out the hard way just like everyone else has to.

This isn't a spoon feeding forum. It would take all of about 2 min to find out what you have asked.
 
The dc2 will fit , but you will have to extend the back box section by roughly 6-8 inches , and maybe adjust the hangers depending on which exhaust you go for.
 
There are only a few different lengths when It comes to 91-01 civic/integra exhaust systems.

91-01
EG/DC2 UK Center sections all the same length. - Will fit but be tight and pull the back box further forward
EG6/DC2 JDM will be aprox 5" longer as the JDM cats are 12" instead of 17"
EG back box will fall short
DC2 back box fill fit but also fall a bit short of the bumper about 2" depending on tailpipe design
EJ1 or 2 (early coupe) back box should fit fine.

95-01
Ek/EM center section is about 1"-2" longer than either of above due to the longer wheel base.
EK9 center will be 5" longer than the above (JDM cat)
Ek(hatch) Back box will fall to short.
EM or any 95< coupe back box will fit.

An adjustable decat will help if you want to fit a DC2 center. Have seen a full DC2 sytem on an EM1 but unsure what cat/decat was used.
 
I have a hatch exhaust on my track coupe, i simply had an extension made up that slips on the tail pipe to extend it out more. done and done.
 
Hatchback setup on my coupe, its short, the angle part is the extension.

dc2 will fit you have to adjust the hangers and extend the tip off the back box buy a couple of inches done it on a coupe before mate
