Item for sale: 1997 Honda Civic Type-R Import (EK9)
Price: £4500 ono
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Milage 85k miles
Condition: Great
The time has come for me to put my much loved Ek9 up for sale . My loss is someone else`s gain . This is an excellent unmolested example of an enthusiasts car .The reason for sale is im currently flat hunting and won`t be able to keep a car of this caliber being a full time student.
Standard B16B. Vtec pulls very strong like new, no smoke.
96spec ITR manifold

The car has just been serviced by a Mercedes mechanic who is a close friend of mine , also fitted was a new rear wheel bearing and pads all round . The car is running 100% with no problems . The ek9 has the usual extras inc , air con electric windows, power steering, electric folding mirrors, all usual standard ek9 parts, ie mats, recaros, lsd .
Bad points :-
Paintwork very good however 1 or 2 small dents from parking, not noticeable unless up close. slight bubble on drivers side rear arch nothing major .
One interior door card has small scratches .The car is an extremely clean example feel free to view !
I also have a carbon bonnet for the ek9 this is available for an extra £150
11 months MOT and 4 months tax .
