Firstly, this has been taken straight from another for sale advert, so if anything is irrelevant or overkill for on here I apologise.

And also please don't post opinions about my car on here, if you have anything constructive to say then thankyou, otherwise either PM me or just don't post. Thanks :nice:

Here we have my 2000 facelift EK9 in Championship White.

6 months Tax and 6 Months MOT, its flown through every MOT with no problems

I am selling this because I am at University and although I have managed to keep it for this long, because my cars always want for nothing it has just been eating away at my savings and I can't realistically afford to keep it for next year. This is a very reluctant sale as I LOVE this car.

It has no Japanese service history but I do have the original import documents verifying condition and mileage etc. I have all the MOT certificates from when it was imported so mileage can also be tracked through those.

It has been religiously serviced every 5000 miles with fresh Silkolene Pro S 5w-40 engine oil and Landrover MTF94 gearbox oil.

It has just (about 400 miles ago) had the following: (By Saint Matt)

New cambelt and tensioner
New Waterpump
Valve tolerances checked and adjusted
Gearbox Oil changed
Engine oil and filter changed
Fuel Filter
Iridium Spark plugs

I bought it with 52k on the clock and it is now at 83k but I will be using it daily until sold. I had brand new OEM rubber bushings fitted at around 62k mileage to freshen everything up so all the bushings are fresh and not worn! (Really good plus point if you ask me)

I had plans to track this car and had started massing parts for a B18 conversion where I was going to rebuild the engine with an Integra type R crank etc. But after looking at the engine and doing a compression test it was found to be incredibly healthy so I didn't go ahead with the conversion (I have sold these parts)

In preparation for tracking the car I also stripped the interior and had the car undercoated and sprayed in Championship white, so if you decide to strip it at any point it looks awesome inside all in white!

I also had two new Honda front wheel bearings fitted

Please note I never actually tracked this car!

Also pulled 187bhp on a rolling road day, but I don't have a printout so can't back that info up! lol I know alot of people make wild claims! But thats not really wild, its just healthy for the engine and the little mods it has.

So onto the modifications:

Toad CAT 1 Alarm with 2 Fobs.
Jazz Washer Jets
Spoon HT Leads (Brand New) (these are up for sale seperately now)
Ohlins Coilover Suspension
Mugen 4-1 Manifold (This is up for sale seperately now so not included, unless it doesn't sell)
AEM Short Ram Induction Kit
Mugen Socks
Password JDM front Strut Brace
Password JDM Rear Upper Brace
Carbing Lower Tie Bar
Full OEM Bushings done 20k ago
CD/MP3/WMA/Ipod Head Unit
High flow 200 cell CAT (passes emissions fine and is more or less the same as having a De-Cat)

This is the lightweight version of the EK9 that came with no ABS, no Electric Windows and no Airbags. It also had thinner front and rear crash bars. This all equated to about 40kg lighter than the usual EK9.

From the factory they didn't come with recaro seats or the full red and black interior but as you will note from the pictures I have upgraded the whole of the car to proper Type R spec. This is another plus in my opinion as I was able to source only the best condition interior plastics and recaro seats.

I bought the Lightweight version, because before coming to Uni my plan was to start regular trackday outings, but my circumstances changed and I kept the car as my daily driver.

It has all the usual EK9 specification like rear tinted windows etc.

It does have Aircon, although I removed this a while ago to start the track preparation that never happened. The Aircon worked fine before it was removed and will be supplied with the car. Simple job to re-fit (easy DIY) just bolts back into place and needs gassing is all.

I think I have listed everything about the car, if I have missed anything I will update the advert as I remember.

I can't really think of any bad points about the car, the only thing I can think of is a small paint chip on the drivers door, but its about the size of a fly and I got a quote for £50 to get it sprayed. Or even cheaper if you get a new door skin from Japperformanceparts or somewhere similar.

Last thing, just for peace of mind cos I know there are plenty of EK9's out there that have been thrashed and not looked after. I am pricing this due to the condition and how I have looked after it. I am a regular member on the EK9.org forum, which I cannot praise enough! very good site with lots of helpful people.

I have not had one problem with the car since I have owned it apart from a dead battery that I had to replace. Other than that it starts on the button everytime and has been a dream to own!

Any questions are more than welcome. I would advise coming to see the car, just because of the condition, I know there are cheaper EK9's available but this has been kept in tip top condition.

Cheers guys! Its nice to see the kind comments :))

I'm accepting reasonable offers on this guys, I need to have this gone sooner rather than later or I'm gonna have to take it off the road for a while :(

Reasonable offers that is! not "I have 4k cash now" type offers ;) lol

Right guys I'm now removing a couple of the Modifications so I'll alter the top post and look out for the Spoon HT leads and the Mugen 4-1 Manifold in the for sale section :nice:

Cheers

Nath
