Central Locking Noise Keeps Happening??

right...only started happening last night but its very weird...

ive a 1999 facelift ek9...

wen ur in the car sittin down the doors keep making the noise as if you locking the car with the fob??? but the doors arnt actually locking only making the noise every few seconds???

wen ur outside the car it happens as well...but when you lock the doors with the fob and stay there the noise stops???

anyone ever have this problem??

car doesnt have an alarm or immobiliser?......yet

control unit for central locking could be dicky
when its making the noise are the locks actually actuating?take off the door cards and have a look. control unit is behind drivers card.

nope they arnt locking wen the noise happens...you can just hear them trying to lock...quite annoying!

I have a clifford on mine, because of the force on the lever that pulls the door switch that locks and unlocks is so strong this noise happens every time i turn on or off the alarm. Have a look behind the door card an see whats happenin. Bit strange because of no alarm tho!
