Carbon Loraine pads for ek9 fitment

It says 97-01 plate integra type r's in the link.
Makes finding pads easier if the tegs are the same

i hope you like cleaning your wheels! some serious dust comes off them pads. :nono:

Also available on demon tweeks I cant compare prices as the CL site wont load at work.

Carbone Lorraine Competition Brake Pads - RC6 Compound - Demon Tweeks

£119 for the fronts.

I thought you had just bought new pads? What have I said to you now :p

Also elchuck I know they are pretty dusty but have you used them?
Looking for some opinions I have not yet but if they are that good I could easily live with cleaning the wheels a bit more.

brother has them on his itr and they are fooking awesome. Hands down the best stopping pads i've seen to date, due to this they do give off more dust and larger debris.

what tires is your brother running?

If your particular about the paint and wheels dont use the RC6. The hot filings off the discs embed themselves into paint really easy.

The RC5+ IMO are the best compromise.

Better than DS2500? will try these next i think.

RC5+ , RC6 are in a different league to ds2500

they obliterate brake discs too, a very very aggressive pad, as said RC5 is slightly less so than the 6

Yeah the pads in ATM are pretty fresh but I plan on hitting them hard at brands next month.
I'm not keen on the change in pedal feel with the yellowstuffs and I seem to heat pads up stupidly quick, bad braking technique is too blame but if I can stop faster with a better pad then its worth the extra cost.
Thinking I can use the yellows for street or the odd event like japfest, then swap to a proper track pad for trackdays and the ring.

Glad to hear they are getting rave reviews from people on here. Ds2500 or ds3000 where on my mind aswell. But want to try these first

Would it be a bad idea to run rc6 on the fronts and leave the yellowstuff in the rear?

these pads have been used in civic rally cars i navigate in are they are brilliant, this then made me buy them for my ek9 and they are the sh!t imo, im using the rc6 pads and they can stop the car very quick, civics dont need big baking power on the rear if the car isnt mad hp so something half decent would be grand on the rear. i used to use mintex but am now currently using pagid pads for the rear are they are working fine.

Hi,

I've used to apply RC5+ on my EK9, however the standard brake disks are not up to these brake pads. I've got two bended disks as a result..

If you have upgraded front disks and you don't care about the brake dust, these CL are great. I've still got these RC5+ of two weeks old, do you have interest in them or do you want to buy only new ones?

Best regards,
John van Lugtenburg

I'll buy new rc6, thanks anyway.
Looks like I'll be getting myself a set of these fitted aswell as removing the abs.
Thanks for the help everyone.

Can't wait to try these pads out now, wasn't expecting such good feedback on them.
