alright ... just wondering if i get my car wrapped do i need to tell the insurance or the dvla ?

or is it just ' a temporary colour change ' ?

not sure heard a few different opinions on it .. cheers

Obviously you have to notify them because it would be a different colour

but iv been told u dont need to becuase its a wrap ? and it goes under a temp colour change ?

I just looked it up and if the colour of the car is completly different to The wrap then u need to declar it other wise u might get fined 1000 pounds.

just phoned insurance company they said they dont need to know .. they only ask for reg of car n make etc

not colour

only neeed to inform dvla of colour change even if its a wrap or spray paint thats all :)

I would imagine you would need to tell them man cause when you put your no. plate in it says age, engine size, auto/manual and colour usually lol

kammy i phoned aviva they said we only ask for ur reg engine size n make of car not colour

only dvla said they need to be notified but the wraaping company said i dont need to becuase its classed as a temp colour change

' my blue ek used to be wrapped white and never had any problems '

aww okk mate so u didnt tell ur insurance or dvla bud ? did u ever gt pulled from police ? any trouble ?

' We say no problem with wraps, no extra premium unless it is a garish colour (eg bright orange). '

so if i got yellow ? and i was with yous it wouldnt increase it ?

there you go then Z get on it you picked a colour yet? '

not yet kammy lol thinking of liquid yellow :p but dont know wnt be october anyway lol
