Hi guys have had an ongoing problem with my ek4 jordan the last couple of months.

I have changed the leads as well as the car having a full service, and this did help for a few days but it is back to the same problem again!

My rear caliper seized on a month ago so i managed to unseize it when changing the pads and discs but it feels as if they are sticking again!

When i go to pull away the car feels as if the handbrake is full on and struggles to pull away! I need to put the car into higher revs to get it to pull away and even then is still feels as if the car is holding back and cant quite free itself!

There is no noticeable difference in temperature on any of the calipers which was the main indicator last time the brake caliper seized so i am stuck as to what is causing the problem!

Any help would be great!
:thanks:

haha very funny martin when u come bak down from uni this week ur getting a beatin haha

Distributor fault maybe?

So youv changed plugs and leads now?

The rear calipers are common to go on EK4s.Could still be that.I would just jack the rear of the car up and see how free the wheels spin then you would know if they are grabbing or not

As said above just jack up the rear of the car and try spinning the wheels, they should spin freely with the handbrake off.
