Is it possible to import an ek9 to California if so how do I go about it and around how much would it cost.
I own a ek but I just luv how the ek9 look so I would luv all the help I can get
 
So should I just keep my ek4 and just put my money into that.
 
buy one thats already in the country? at the moment that is the best thing you could probably do, but i dont think anyone wants to sell at the moment its more of a buyers market out there at the mo, not sellers....
 
Can someone tell us about the import car system in the USA? for Right hand drive cars?

is it not just a test like the UK have to do to to check if car comply with the UK laws?

Do what everyone else does, convert a US model 96-00 civic hatch or buy one thats already been imported.

do you really have an ek4 now? you sure you don't have an ej6?

the best way i can describe it is a nightmare, it depends what state your in but California is without a doubt the hardest.

well, if you have a look :shocked: at the yellow 9' he has for sale, type-r-dunk actually offers another member the car for £7,850 with shipping included, sounds a good deal to me!!!
 
Well I have a 96 hatch with a 99-00 frond end conversion it's probably an ej6 like u said. N-e ways I was thinking of trying to make my hatch look like an ek9 but I didn't know what would be cheapper also I didn't if I did do that don't I have to change all my interior to black and were would I find all that
 
To find an ek9 would b almost impossible for the reason I would luv to have one no one has them around over here and even if I did find one for sell I'm sure it would b less expensive to import one
