cambelt

the time has come where my b16b needs a cambelt. is OEM best or is there a better aftermarket one out?

OEM should be ok! do you have any engine mods ? for example camshafts, cam gears, etc. ?

aftermarket cam belts are waste of time, oem is best which are made by gates

if you want an after market one do it for looks not performance. but then again you dont really see the belt unless you remove your timing cover which i dont recomend.

the only time i say do it for performance is if you do very high rpm 9500+ and or high heat situation like turbocharged cars running 20+psi and even then you dont really need it.
