Right guys...and guyettes perhaps...

This is gonna sound a little bit weird :D but hey, thats how i roll lol

But iv just landed a job in Aberdeen with Dril-Quip @ Stoneywood. Had my 1st day today.

i worked in aberdeen last year with schlumberger for 6 months, but didnt really do much at nights n stuff, and never really knew where to go either even if i fancied a drive. i think thats why i kinda got fed up towards the end of my time there.

im wanting to make a change, iv got internet in my flat now too which is a huge help also, since i share with 3 other oil related folk and the landlord hasnt fitted a phoneline etc. never had any last year!! done my nut in

knowing the garages to look out for and the ones that are good if i ever need anything would be good, and other things like, good jet washes, just everything, im basically a foreigner up here. i only really know where union street is! lol. but i like the city, and the people up here have a friendlyness ( in my opinion ) which i dont feel in fife, and the ladies up here are actually mint! in fife they all look like dogs lickin pish off the nettles

im very used to going out in the car, and i did it quite a lot when i stayed in fife, i do like doing stuff like that.

im really wanting to make a go at staying up here, and looking to meet new people, find out where the places to go are, perv at burdies, the usual!!! :D im wanting to be able to have a similar time to what i would at home...

is there any local car sites, like i had some local cruise sites for fife etc, usually met up with all kinds of people, sometimes events.

im on msn if anyone is interested in helping me out.

so i guess what im asking is, anyone fancy telling me whats what, or even showing me. be my friend!!! hahah :D

Hey, i stay in Aberdeen!!!

Carden Motors on Broomhill Road are your best friend if you need any work done, they are a Honda specialist and the only place i take my car too if i can't do the work myself, dad also takes his FD2 there!!! The boy in charge is a legend, drives an FN2 and a NSX.....

If you want to meet up sometime i'll easy take you out for a hurl and show you some awesome local roads :secret:

Steven

thanks a lot guys.

yeah, moving was hard last year, but this year the jobs totally different and i really wanna make a go of things since its a staff job rather than a contract. u might think theres not much to it, but try living in fife, the city of aberdeen i think is pretty awesome, and the girlies up here are wooooop wooooop, already like a couple in my office and im only on my 1st week :D

but yeh, thats really good info steven, and im glad its a bit of a honda garage, since il be here more often than at home, it will be good to have a trustworthy garage i can rely on here.

im living in kincorth at the moment ( same flat as my dad just now while im settling in ), pretty much right at the front, overlooking the river and city, with that dual carrageway running past.

it will take time to get used to things here, but id like to eventually be able to feel as home in aberdeen as i am at home, and being able to meet a few new people with similar interests will help. appreciate you guys getting back to me.

my msn is mwtechdesign@hotmail.com

il be on pretty much every night at the moment lol. yeah...livin the life woohoo :D

Just added you!! i live about 5 minutes from you nearer the Holburn Street area, will catch you online, should come up as my login name being "shovel" :nice:
