This is a rather infamous video on youtube of a Japanese guy (sn : Cheesefrog) taking his hatchback against a Dodge Viper, and keeping up with it all the way till the end. :cool:

Yeah, I don't know what happened. Youtube was running slow and I couldn't upload the video! LoL, well I edited on to my original post now!

thumbs down to automotive racisim, the new nsx may be v8 powered, will you hate that? and the viper is actually a v10 ;)

me too, i dont think ill be keeping up with a viper though

viper hp to weight ratio is ~6.8
my civic with turbo hp to weight ratio will be ~8.4 (assuming i have 265whp)

looks like i wont be beating any vipers :angry:

i will need approximately a minimum of 350whp (gives me a 6.4 hp to weight ratio) to keep up with a viper which means built motor and i just dont have the $$ for that :angry: :angry: :angry:
 
yeah that video is old. still cool to see it though.

anyone remember that gold ek? i forgot who it belongs to. but it was bad ass as well

Built meaning the engine has had it internals replaced with forged rods and pistons. Also that car will have had headwork and running a big ass snail :)

He'd have taken the Viper had he closed his window for increased aero dynamics lol

funny but i seen some crazy **** when u put the windows up
 
but it takes a ton of money to get to this level safely, might as well have saved the cash and bought a viper. lol
 
You only need that kinda crazy power if you live in the states. It's wasted over here, a 190 wheel hp ek9 is perfect for uk roads as the only place you can really spill the beans these days is on an empty country road. Spend your money on taking those corners faster :nice:
