The Buddy Club Racing Spec Shifters are manufactured using as few separate pieces as possible to ensure high strength with no compromises and possibilities of failure. These shifters are constructed out of high-strength forged steel, and provide the perfect "feel" that every racer needs to best communicate with the car. With virtually infinite incremental adjustment from 0-40% reduction in shift throw, this shifter box is totally adjustable for the most picky driver. While this box is a perfect upgrade for your 02-06 RSX, is also an excellent choice to compliment the Karcepts Shifter Mounting Kit.
We highly recommend the adjustable short shifter pin to be set between the lowest point on the slot up to a maximum of 3/8" from this lowest position.* Ideally, we prefer it to be set right at 1/4" from the bottom of the slot.* This shortens the throw very nicely, yet yields a smooth shift.* When the pin is set higher than what we recommend, the shift effort is greatly increased and excess strain is placed on the shift cables and shifter box.
