I have used the search and coming up with all different finds and still no further forward....

Basically my rear caliper is seized and im on route to fixing it, but have noticed im needing rear pads! So in the process im going to buy fronts aswell.

Ive seen alot of people recomend oem for the rears,
and for the fronts there is this high debate and peoples preference to ferodo, ebc yellow/reds, i also know it comes down to "what you pay for is what you get"

Currently running mintex 1144 pads with mintex disks, and im mostly a daily driver but have a small sprinted track session in just over a weeks time, so will have the odd track day!

Looking for peoples opinion on pads and also recomended companies to purchase from?

Any help appreiciated

DS3000 front and DS2500 rear.

You're throwing away braking power, stability and pad life by using OEM pads with high cf front ones.

Dunsy got on well with EBC yellows after laps of hard use at KH, reds are comparible to DS2500, OK on the back but up front will work good from cold but will still fade on track

i would say without breaking the bank, EBC yellows all round (or reds rear) would be a good shout, nice and easy to get hold of

DS3000 are a nice pad too but a waste unless you are tracking it alot as they are a bit noisey and harsher on discs

Have a look in the retailer section, sure there was someone with a deal on Project mu items :nice:

Cheers mate! Had a look at the yellows they seem pretty fair and think i will go with that setup!

Im sure i did see a retailer doing the mu pads but a bit pricey considering type of driving im doing at the moment same as the price of the DS3000(But was also noted that these were not suited for road use)

Thanks again!

got project mu hc+ pads for the front ek9 at a bargain price right now, last box :)

arguably one of the most popular pads on the market
